My friend James Cope and I talk a lot about things that are hard to do. Recently, we have come to measure the difficulty of something by the d-day rubric. It goes like this: What''s harder, do the task in question, or waiting in a landing craft preparing to storm a beach at Normandy? So far, nothing we have come up with has been as difficult a task as storming a beach at Normandy. That was a really, really hard job. This site is retrospective of sorts about that day and the monumental and difficult task that was at hand. Check it out.

Now you have only one list to worry / care about, and it takes the guess work out for your friends and family when it comes to them buying gifts for you. Hence, you can share it with anybody. I checked it out. Its cool, but I wasnt able to find the option that would allow for adding world peace.

For a while now, whenever I want to check out a place in the world, I have been searching on that place using flickr, rather than a search engine like google. the idea is that people who have traveled to that place, probably took in, and photographed, a real 'attractions' of that location. It has always seemed to me like the most logical thing to do to get a real feel for a locale. Now there is a site that addresses the same concept, Fun Tourist Attractions. It groups pictures of popular travel destinations from around the world. You can view popular tourist attractions from San Francisco to India. Check it out.

As promised, today I will point you in the direction of removing a keylogger, which turns out is not as easy as getting keylogging software onto your machine. This turns out to be a two part process, one to search for the keylogging software, and two to deal with it. there are two different programs for doing this: a) KL-Detector which is free; b) either something like SpyReveal or Keylogger hunter, neither of which remove the keylogger, just quarantines it process. Since I can only post one link here and I am mentioning three different software, you are going to have to google the names to find the downloads.

Once I worked at American Airlines where I printed flight manuals. In the flight attendant''s manual, there was a section on how to get a stain out of anything. It was awesome information. I copied that section and kept it for the longest time, that was until it was lost in a move or something. Now the University of Illinois has created the Stain Solutions database that delivers different cleaning methods for different kinds of stains. if you hate stains as much as me, then this site is for you.
